How we use your details
This notice covers registration and judging for Iyin-Ekiti TechFest 2026. It's written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
Iyin-Ekiti TechFest 2026 is organised by FIESU and FUTES Gotham Mafians. SkilledCrow Technologies Limited runs this registration and judging platform for them and is responsible for the data collected here.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Whether you're a student or working, your school or company and level, if you give them
- Your experience level, skills and track preference
- Your team, your project submission and the scores judges give it in each round
- When you check in on the day
Why we use it
- To register you, form teams, check you in and contact you about the event
- To let judges review and score projects, pick the finalists and publish the results
- To keep a public archive of the projects built at the event
- To share attendance numbers and anonymised statistics with the organisers and sponsors
We only use your details for anything else, such as telling you about future SkilledCrow Technologies Limited events, programmes or opportunities, if you ticked the optional box when you registered.
Who can see it
- The organisers (FIESU and FUTES Gotham Mafians) can see participant details to run the event.
- Judges see project submissions, team names and member names, not your contact details.
- After demo day, every submitted project is published in a public archive on this site: the project's name, description and links, the team name, the track and team members' names. A team can keep its project out of the archive by ticking the box on the submission form. Contact details are never published.
We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep registration details for 12 months after the event, then delete or anonymise them. The public project archive stays online as a record of the event; you can ask us to remove your name or your project from it at any time. If you opted in to updates, we keep your name and email for that until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent to updates, at any time. Email mail@skilledcrow.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
